Thursday: 12pm to 11pm
Friday: 12pm to 1am
Saturday: 12pm to 1am
Sunday: 12pm to 11pm

+Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes. If there’s space, we’ll find you a spot.

+Do I need to book?

No, you don’t need to. If you want to guarantee your place, book ahead. More of a last-minute one? Head up and if there’s room, we’ll get you in.

Yes. Whether you’re heading up for one round or making a whole night of it, you’re very welcome.

+Can I order from more than one kitchen?

Yes. That’s part of the fun. Mix and match across the kitchens and order what you fancy.

+What kind of food do you have?

Brunch, dinner, tea. Tipsy snacks and sharing plates. Local favourites and global cuisines. We’ve called on kitchens from Fenham, Byker, Ouseburn and more to serve you the best bait in the North. And with a rotating line up of visiting vendors from around the country, no two Freight Island feasts are ever the same.

Yes, there will be options across the site. The best thing to do is check individual menus before you order.

Yes. At selected times, Freight Island is family-friendly, with a kids’ soft play area and cinema on site.

We want Freight Island to be as accessible as possible. Full accessibility information will be available before your visit.

+Can I bring my dog?

No. As much as we love them, it’s not the right setting for dogs. Freight Island gets loud, busy and a bit much for four-legged friends.
